The terms of use detailed on this page apply to the website, as well as the material presented on the website, maintained by the Association for Finnish Work.

With forms located on the website, we also collect personal data for the registers of the Association for Finnish Work. Each form on the website has a description of how the collected data will be used as well as a reference to a privacy notice.

Terms of Use

The Website’s Purpose

The website’s goal is to provide information on the Association for Finnish Work and the application process for the Key Flag, Design from Finland and Social Enterprise labels, which are administered by the association. The website contains information, news, articles and blog posts concerning the labels as well as publications regarding studies conducted by the Association for Finnish Work.

Right of Use

As a website user, you can share the website’s contents in external online communities and services in accordance with the terms of use applied in those specific communities and services. When using commenting tools of other social networking services, the terms of service of those services apply. When users share content outside of the website, the Association for Finnish Work is not responsible for the data processing under the terms of use of third parties.

Unless otherwise specified, the content, images and logos on the website are owned by the Association for Finnish Work and protected by the Finnish Copyright Act. Press releases and other content published by the Association for Finnish Work for public use can be publicly shared if the source of the information is mentioned. The sale or use of the website’s content or some part of the content in a way that violates the value or purpose of the content is prohibited.

Intellectual property rights

The Association for Finnish Work owns the materials and content of the website, excluding content produced by third parties to which only the Association for Finnish Work has a right of use. The copyright and other rights of such texts, images and other third-party materials on the website belong to the authors of the materials or holders of the registration.

The Association for Finnish Work reserves all rights to use the registered trademarks for the Key Flag, Design from Finland and Social Enterprise labels and other equivalent intellectual property rights. The use of such rights always requires a prior consent granted by the Association for Finnish Work.

Limitation of Liability

Texts written by visiting authors published on the website contain the authors’ personal thoughts and opinions. They are not necessarily the official opinions of the organisations represented by the authors. The authors are personally responsible for the contents of their texts.

Under no circumstances is the Association for Finnish Work liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages, or damages that are caused by using or trusting the published information or materials. Neither is the Association for Finnish Work responsible for any damages caused by an inability to access the website or the use of the website being interrupted. The Association for Finnish Work has the right to shut down the online service completely if it so wishes.

In addition to the pages maintained by the Association for Finnish Work, the website also contains links to websites owned or updated by third parties. By following the links to external websites, the user accepts that those websites are not maintained by the Association for Finnish Work, and that the association cannot influence their content. The linked websites may also contain conditions restricting use. Such conditions should be read before using the website. The Association for Finnish Work uses Google Analytics and other cookies to collect data about website visitors. The data is collected to develop the website and improve user experience, as well as for marketing purposes. Our website uses cookies that are necessary for the site’s operation, as well as cookies for statistical and marketing purposes. To track visitors, Google Analytics uses cookies that allow our website to recognise your computer when you browse the website or return to the website. With the help of Google Analytics, we collect general statistical data about how the website is used. We do this for the purpose of developing our service. Such data includes the number of visitors, the country and time of use, the browser used, the contents browsed by the visitor and the page from which the visitor has entered the service.  An individual user can be identified based on the data stored by Google Analytics, but this data cannot be linked to a natural person.

A cookie is a small text file, typically containing an anonymous identification code, which is sent to the user’s browser. This means that the data stored by a cookie is anonymous, and the user cannot be identified based on the data. Cookies are not harmful to your devices. Some cookies are related to website functions (such as choosing a visual or text version, or changing the font size), while others are used to save statistical data on how the website is used.  Social media share buttons (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) placed on websites also use cookies, as well as YouTube and Vimeo, which are often used to embed videos on websites. We use Leadoo’s tracking service to follow what users are doing on the site and combine this behavioral data with other data we can gather from e.g. chat interactions. Leadoo uses etag tracking in order to hook together the same users behavior over several sessions.
