Cookies and Visitor Tracking

Finnish Work uses Google Analytics and other cookies to collect data about visitors on its website. We collect data to develop the website and improve the user experience, as well as for marketing purposes. Our website uses cookies necessary for the functioning of the site, as well as cookies for statistical and marketing purposes. You can give your consent to all of these or refuse all or some of them.

To track visitors, Google Analytics uses cookies that allow our website to recognise your computer when you browse the website or return to the website. With the help of Google Analytics, we collect general statistical data about how the website is used. We do this for the purpose of developing our service. Such data includes the number of visitors, the country and time of use, the browser used, the contents browsed by the visitor and the page from which the visitor has entered the service. An individual user can be identified based on the data stored by Google Analytics, but this data cannot be linked to a natural person.

More information about Google Analytics is available at:  http://www.google.com/analytics/.

A cookie is a small text file, typically containing an anonymous identification code, which is sent to the user’s browser. The data stored by a cookie is anonymous, and the user cannot be identified based on the data. Cookies are not harmful to your devices. Some cookies are related to website functions (such as choosing a visual or text version, or changing the font size), while others are used to save statistical data about website use. Social media share buttons (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) placed on websites also use cookies, as well as YouTube and Vimeo, which are often used to embed videos on websites.

We use Leadoo user tracking to monitor how our users move around our website and combine this data with user data collected through, for example, chat interactions. Leadoo uses etag tracking which is different from cookie-based tracking, combining data from multiple user sessions into one. Read Leadoo Marketing Technologies Oy’s privacy policy if you want to know more about what information the system tracks. In terms of the GDPR, Finnish Work acts as a controller and processor of Leadoo data. If you do not want to be tracked, you can clear your browser cache. Learn more about how Leadoo works
