Key Flag online shop

An online shop’s Key Flag Symbol tells customers that the online shop is managed by a Finnish company which employs people in Finland.

The online shop must be a Finnish-owned company serving customers from Finland, with its warehouse, headquarters and management located in Finland. The service must be produced in Finland and products delivered from Finland. The terms of payment and delivery and the extract from register are clearly presented.

What kind of online shop can get a Key Flag Symbol?

The Key Flag Symbol is issued to Finnish companies that sell their own products and brands, or resell other operators’ products in their online shops.


By contrast, various marketplace operators that focus on moving goods from China to the rest of the world or between different online shops, for example, cannot apply for the Key Flag Symbol. Localised online shops operating from abroad also cannot apply for the Key Flag Symbol.
